Sweet Audrey is just waiting for someone to adopt her.
She’s one of ten Pit bulls being fostered with Los Angeles based rescue Wags and Walks and their volunteers.

“A couple of them have been adopted which is super exciting this little one right here Mae was adopted within two days by her foster,” Kathryn Hurley, Volunteer and Developmental Coordinator with Wags and Walks, said.
And it’s easy to see why, Mae is a total lap dog, but a photo Mae back in July shows she’s barely recognizable.
She was taken in with a total of 27 other dogs after Riverside County Animal Services raided a home near Lake Mathews.
Eleven dogs dogs were found dead and the 27 surviving pits were starving to death with no food or water.
One surviving dog was euthanized after collapsing at the shelter.
“They were left alone in the house for roughly two months their owner was arrested on May 9th and they were not discovered until July 11th,” Hurley said.
Investigators believe 48-year-old Carl Dixon, seen on his YouTube page, owned the dogs and was breeding them.
Dixon was in jail facing on allegations of drug trafficking while the dogs were left in the house.
“While being there a lot of them developed skin issues,” Hurley said. “Ted in particular, we have pictures of him, he had the beginning stages of mange and needed to be treated for that.”
Some had to have parts of their tails amputated and permanently lost toe nails digging for food.
Despite the neglect these dogs and friendly, loving and quick with the kisses.
Wags and Walks volunteers have been nursing them back to health so they’re adoption ready.
“It’s heartbreaking where she came from, but I think that it’s really a testament to her basic personality which is just a really sweet great family dog,” Lor Fogel, who is fostering a dog, said.

No charges have been filed yet in this case, but whoever is found responsible for the neglect could face multiple felony counts of animal cruelty.
