2 men killed, 2 wounded in North Hollywood shooting

Authorities are seeking two men in connection with a shooting in North Hollywood that left two men dead and two others wounded Tuesday.

The gunfire erupted around 11:35 p.m. Monday as a group of men stood in the 5000 block of Klump Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

One man died at the scene, and another died at a hospital, according to the coroner's office. Authorities withheld the names of the men, who were in their 20s, pending family notification.

Two other men were wounded and were hospitalized in unknown condition. Two others were being sought.

LAPD Lt. Mike Kozak told reporters at the scene that some of the victims may be suspects. Two weapons were recovered at the scene, Kozak said.

Kozak said detectives were collecting evidence and canvassing witnesses.
