2 killed, 1 wounded in Long Beach shooting

LONG BEACH (FOX 11 / CNS) - Two men were shot and killed and another was wounded early Wednesday morning in Long Beach.

The triple shooting occurred around midnight in the area of 5300 block of Orange Avenue, according to Long Beach police Lt. Omar Martinez.

Officers located one man deceased at the scene, Martinez said. Two other men were taken to a hospital, where one died and the other was being treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his upper body, Martinez said.

There was no suspect information immediately available.

The area was closed off to the public for the investigation.
