Middle of the night terror in North Hills

Imagine it’s the middle of the night. You’re in a deep sleep. All of a sudden your eyes open and a masked gunman is standing over you. That’s what happened to Rimeh Allraai and her family at 3:40 am Thursday morning. In a one-on-one interview Allraai says, “He put the gun on my head and asked me ‘Where is the money… Where is the money?’

Allraai says the four gunmen entered through the sliding patio door. It was unlocked, she says, because it was hot and they were trying to get some fresh air in the house.

Allraai was sleeping with her two young daughters in one room. Her husband was in another. At one point she could hear him groaning. She says the men badly beat her husband. He was taken to a hospital. Everyone was scared.

Allraai says the kids were told by the gunmen don’t move. She was told,

She was told, “Don’t scream. Where’s the money? Don’t scream stop screaming . He was yelling and screaming and he put his hand on my face and look at the bruise here on my face."

The four took off with $5000 the family kept under a mattress.
