MALIBU, Calif. (FOX 11) - LA County Firefighters and County Lifeguards responded Tuesday morning to a 40-foot vessel fire located off the coast of Malibu where a crew of two people and their dog had to be rescued.
The boat, located about a mile-and-a-half offshore was reported to be in distress before 8:00a.m. Tuesday morning. LA Firefighter boat crews immediately responded to the scene where they found the vessel fully engulfed in flames.
The crew of two and their dog had jumped into the water to escaped the flames, but were picked up soon after.
No word as to the cause of the fire.
