SOUTH LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11 / CNS) - A man was shot and killed today at a homeless encampment under a freeway overpass in South Los Angeles, police said.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, died at the scene of the shooting, which occurred about 7:20 a.m. on Broadway at the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway transition, said Los Angeles police Officer Liliana Preciado.
Authorities withheld his name, pending family notification. No arrests were reported.
