Walk through Little Tokyo in this virtual reality documentary

- Little Tokyo was established more than 100 years ago. Perhaps you've gone there to sing karaoke or enjoy the food.

But you've never really seen Little Tokyo until you've walked through the streets with Grace Chikui, the subject of a documentary called "Walking with Grace."

Grace is blind and a long-time resident of Little Tokyo.

The film used 360 degree virtual reality. You wear a pair of VR Goggles, put on headphones for the audio and follow Grace as she walks around the neighborhood.

The documentary is tied to other historical preservation efforts as well.

Producer Maya Santos said they partnered with Little Tokyo Historical Society and HistoryPin to allow people to get more detailed information about the places they see on Grace's walk.
