1 killed, 4 injured in violent Pasadena car crash

PASADENA, Calif. (FOX 11/CNS) - A collision between a car and an SUV in Pasadena Wednesday morning left one person dead and four others injured, authorities said.

It happened about 7 a.m. at Lake Avenue and East Villa Street, Lisa Derderian of the Pasadena Fire Department said.

The person who died was in a Ford Mustang, Derderian said. Three other people in the Mustang were hurt, as was a person in the SUV, she said.

The conditions of the survivors and what led to the crash were not immediately known.
