LA's Most Wanted: Murder Of 16-Year-Old Andrew Lopez

(FOX 11) Imagine what it would be like to work in a hospital and discover your son's body in the emergency room. Exactly seven years ago, that's what happened to the mother of 16-year-old Andrew Lopez.

Lopez was attacked outside a party in 2008 on West 22nd Street in Lancaster.

The 16-year-old was in a large crowd which made it very likely several people saw the stabbing. But after all these years, investigators at the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Bureau have not been able to identify Andrew's killer.

They've had no help from anyone who attended the party, probably because the witnesses are afraid of reprisals from Andrew's killer.

It is still possible to give investigators information they can use by calling anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1.800.222.TIPS or the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Bureau at (323) 890.5500.
