The victim was stabbed multiple times and died at the scene -- the 1700 block of East Mission Boulevard -- around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, said Pomona police Sgt. Vince Terrell.

The assault occurred at a mobile home park, a news videographer reported from the scene.

It was not known if the fatal attack was related to another knife attack, which took place in the 700 block of East Mission three to five minutes earlier, Terrell said.
