Ronald Clinton, his wife Malissia and their three kids believe someone targeted them because they're among the few African American families in the neighborhood. The culprit, whoever it was, set the front of the house on fire by placing what the Clintons say was a tire covered in a gasoline-like substance at their front door and torching it. That was Wednesday morning around 2:15am.

Both Clintons say they don't have a beef with anyone. They don't know of any other reason someone would want to harm them.
At the vigil Ronald Clinton told the estimated 600+ "We're just overwhelmed by the kind love and support this community has shown us." His wife said, "We are speechless and so appreciative of the love you are all showing.... uh... I feel like a rock star."
He called for the culprit to be found while Mrs. Clinton said she's still "in shock. I can't believe that the incident happened on Wednesday and I'm flabbergasted at the community's response. I knew it was the kind of community we wanted to live in but I had no understanding of the magnitude of the support we'd see."
The investigation continues.
