Heathrow Airport Takes Alyssa Milano's Breast Milk

(FOX 11) Alyssa Milano's breast milk was confiscated at London Heathrow Airport -- and she is not happy about it.

The former "Charmed" actress, who has a 3-year-old son and 7-month-old daughter, tweeted that 10 ounces of her pumped breast milk had been taken away.

"Gone. Not okay," she added.

Heathrow Airport responded by explaining its carry-on liquid policy.

"Sorry for any confusion caused. To confirm, if you aren't travelling with your baby, milk is subject to the 100ml/(3.4oz) liquid restriction. If you need further info this, I would encourage you to visit their website," the airline tweeted.

"I would have happily spread milk in different containers (which I travel with) to comply to those liquid rules," Milano replied. "Instead, milk was taken away with no discussion. Shampoo, lotions, etcetera were simply tested and handed back with no issue. Makes no sense at all."

To pour salt on the wound, the actress also tweeted that her other breast pump checked with the rest of her baggage was lost.

"Filling out a lost baggage claim now," she said.

ESPN's Kenny Mayne tweeted how we all felt:
