Firefighters say that includes the following tips:
*People need to have defensible space around their homes *Be aware of your surroundings *Have a plan. You need to know what to do when fire strikes.
*Have a kit for three days worth of supplies

And, when it comes to the drought's impact on potential fires, fire behavior analyst Brendan Ripley says, "It is extremely serious mainly from the standpoint when you look at the conditions from the long-term drought."
The dry grassy conditions which bring us to what to do about cutting yard. Operators of the goat business say it should take about a week to 10 days to gobble up 14 acres.
