The Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) in Long Beach is letting you into the private lives of 5 people. It's the idea of curator Carlos Ortega. He says, "What better way to introduce people to art than through stories." Participants were asked to choose 10 art pieces that represent their stories before and after their lives were transformed. Ortega says, "I wanted people that are going through difficult times in their lives to get the chance to come to place where they can meditate, see what others have gone through and be inspired by them."
You can also participate in this exhibit by choosing a photo necklace that best represents your story. Watch the video to learn more on the personal transformations of the people chosen for this exhibit.
