LA's Most Wanted: 7 Years Later, Who Killed Bunthan Roeung?

(FOX 11) Bunthan Roeung, 26, was in the back seat of a car that was driving along Hollywood Boulevard a little before 2 a.m. on March 1, 2008.

Someone in his car got into an argument with someone in a black or gray Chevrolet Monte Carlo with red pin stripes and paper plates. When the driver of the car Roeung was in turned onto the northbound Hollywood Freeway, the Monte Carlo followed, tailgating and apparently attempting to provoke a confrontation.

As the cars neared the Lankershim Boulevard off ramp, a shot was fired from the Monte Carlo that killed Roeung.

Anyone with information about the traffic incident that ended in Roeung's death is urged to contract LAPD's North Hollywood Division detectives at (818) 754-8451. An anonymous call to Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-TIPS will also help.

There may be a reward for information that results in the arrest and conviction of the killer.
