The Spring Street shelter across from LA City Hall (map) now has electronic signs that show both Metro and DASH real-time bus arrival times, a speaker that announces when the next bus will arrive, a Wi-Fi hot spot as well as a USB port for charging your phone.
According to Metro's blog The Source, other bus stops are expected to follow suit in the next couple of years. Officials are currently studying how well it works for riders and if vandalism will be an issue.
Nice job @pietromarx and @francoisnion on this full-service bus stop! Great @metrolosangeles addition. pic.twitter.com/X4I5s6y6oh
