Brush Fire Scorches 10 Acres Near West Covina

WEST COVINA (CNS/FOX 11) - Fire crews worked to extinguish a brush fire Monday that scorched about 10 acres near West Covina.

The flames were first reported about 10:20 a.m. near Grand and Cameron avenues, the Los Angeles County Fire Department reported.

Crews appeared to have the upper hand within about 50 minutes, but the firefighting effort continued as of late morning.
