Smash Mouth Singer Goes Off After Being Pelted With Bread On Stage (VIDEO)

(FOX 11) The lead singer of Smash Mouth had a meltdown after being pelted with slices of bread while performing Sunday at Taste of Fort Collins in Colorado.

WARNING: The video in this story contains explicit language that might be offensive to some viewers.

According to the Coloradoan, vendors were giving out free loaves of bread at the event, and (intoxicated) fans began throwing bread on stage during the concert.

This apparently set frontman Steve Harwell off, throwing profanities left and right on the crowd and threatening to beat them up, as seen in this NSFW video uploaded to YouTube.

He was eventually escorted off stage by security, the Denver FOX station reports.

The incident, however, quickly took off on social media.
