LA's Most Wanted: 2003 Murder Of Trayvon Reed

(FOX 11) Trayvon Reed went to a gathering almost 12 years ago and never came home.

On June 29, 2003, he was at a house party near the intersection of Broadway and 66th Street in Los Angeles. An hour after he left the party, Trayvon was found dead 10 miles away on Burnside Drive at San Vicente near the Miracle Mile District.

Compounding the mystery is the fact that Trayvon didn't have a car. Somewhere between the party and the place where he was found murdered, someone gave Reed a ride.

The murder of Trayvon Reed is now being investigated by Detective John Skaggs at the LAPD's West Bureau Homicide Division. Anyone with information that could lead to the killer should contact Detective Skaggs at (213) 382-9470.

Anonymous calls are welcomed to Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-TIPS.
