FOX 11 Ratings: GDLA Beats National Morning Shows; Studio 11 LA Has Best Ratings Ever

It was a strong ratings month for FOX 11 - KTTV for the month of May 2015.  The station has seen year-to-year growth for FOX 11 News at 5:00AM, 6:00AM, Good Day LA at 7:00AM and 9:00AM, FOX 11 News at 10:00AM and for Studio 11 LA News at 5:00PM. 

Studio 11 LA News at 5:00PM achieves its highest share of audience since launching the show in September 2011. 

Good Day LA at 7:00AM beats national morning shows in Los Angeles.

Also, TMZ at 6:00PM and Dish Nation at 6:30PM grow year-to-year and gain in rank. 


KTTV: Studio11 LA M-F 5:00-6:00 p.m.:

"Studio11 LA" at 5pm grows Share in the key Adult 25-54 demographic versus last May 2014 and achieves its highest share to date since its launch in September 2011.

• Year-to-year "Studio11 LA grew share among Adults 25-54 from a 2.18 to a 2.29, the highest share of audience since launching in September 2011.

KTTV: GOOD DAY LA M-F 7-9 a.m.:

GOOD DAY LA at 7am shows growth in Households, Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49, Adults 25-54 and Women 25-54 versus last May 2014:

• Year to year in Households "Good Day LA" is up 24% from 62,000 in May 2014 to 77,000 homes this May 2015 and up 25% in share with a 5 share.

• Year to year in Total Viewers 2+ "Good Day LA" is up 30% from 74,000 in May 2014 to 96,000 viewers this May 2015 and up 25% in share with a 5 share.

• Year to year in Adults 18-49 "Good Day LA" is up 8% from 48,000 last year to 52,000 this May 2015 and up 50% in share with a 9 share.

• "Good Day LA" beats the national morning shows in Adults 18-49. (Good Day LA - 52,000, KNBC/Today Show- 43,000, KABC/GMA - 31,000, KCBS/CBS This Morning - 12,000)

• Year to year in Adults 25-54 "Good Day LA" is up 20% from 50,000 last year to 60,000 this May 2015 and up 33% in share with an 8 share.

• "Good Day LA" beats the national morning shows in Adults 25-54. (Good Day LA- 60,000, KNBC/Today Show- 57,000, KABC/GMA – 46,000, KCBS/CBS This Morning – 19,000)

• Year to year in Women 25-54 "Good Day LA" is up 6% from 36,000 last year to 38,000 this May and up 13% in share with a 9 share.

• Year to year in Total Viewers 2+ "Good Day LA" is up 38% from 52,000 last May 2014 to 72,000 viewers this May 2015.

• Year to year in Adults 18-49 "Good Day LA" at 9am is up 21% from 34,000 last May 2014 to 41,000 this May 2015.

• Year to year in Adults 25-54 "Good Day LA" at 9am is up 30% from 37,000 last May 2014 to 48,000 this May 2015.

• Year to year in Households "TMZ" at 6pm is up 18% from 87,000 in May 2014 to 103,000 homes this May 2015 and up 33% in share with a 4 share.

• Year to year in Total Viewers 2+ "TMZ" is up 20% from 107,000 in May 2014 to 128,000 viewers this May 2015.

• Year to year in Adults 18-49 "TMZ" is up 24% from 59,000 last year to 73,000 this May 2015.

• Year to year in Households "DISH NATION" at 6pm is up 40% from 53,000 in May 2014 to 74,000 homes this May 2015.

• Year to year in Total Viewers 2+ "DISH NATION" is up 63% from 60,000 in May 2014 to 98,000 viewers this May 2015.

• Year to year in Adults 18-49 "DISH NATION" is up 100% from 32,000 last May 2014 to 64,000 this May 2015 and now ranks #1 in the time period (KTTV/Dish Nation – 64,000, KTLA/News – 22,000, KNBC/News – 36,000, KABC/ABC News – 46,000, KCBS/CBS News – 30,000, KCAL/Family Feud – 32,000).
