That was about the time her mother, Rhonda Kauffman, received information that her daughter was locked in a room with only a mattress, at the home where the car had been found! Police checked the house and found a room fitting the description, even the mattress, but no Brianna. It is the home where relatives of the young man live, but tell Fox 11 that they haven't seen him.
The girl has stopped all contact with family. People at the home where the car was left say they saw her briefly, but that she left. A private investigator has been helping the girl's family, getting information that she has been seen possibly being "forced" to prostitute herself in the L.A. Area.
Police won't talk about specifics, but are asking anyone with information to give HOLLENBECK Detectives a call, at 323-342-4100.
The family has a hotline now, at 844-743-5787, or 844-7-HELPUS
