Gina's People: Medical Academy

Students at Gladstone High School in Covina are hard at work learning everything they can about the medical field.

It's a four year medical academy that gives students hands on experience. They learn everything from drawing blood, taking vital signs, giving electrocardiogram exams and much more. Gladstone High was awarded the Youth Career Connect Grant to establish the medical academy. The students who enroll in the academy and finish the four years, will have medical certificates by the time they graduate high school. Watch the video for more information.

Kudos to Gladstone High and Ms. Jennie Aguirre.
