Tourists Run From Black Bears In Yellowstone National Park (VIDEO)

(FOX 11) Some tourists in Yellowstone National Park got an up close and personal experience with a family of black bears this week.

According to the Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks department, visitors found themselves a bit too close to the wildlife. The mama and her cubs started running towards them, and tourists were left running for safety.

Wildlife officials say bear season is starting to kick into full gear.

The Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks department posted the video on its Facebook page Friday and said in part: "It serves as a reminder that wildlife can be unpredictable. For your safety and theirs, respect wildlife and give them room to roam."

Thankfully -- the humans and the bears were unhurt.
