Now, she's at it again battling dirty, black water in Gardena.
At a community meeting, Brockovich vowed to help residents fight dirty water they say, has been coming from their faucets. Dozens of residents in Gardena and surrounding communities expressed anger over the problem that started about 8 months ago.
Brockovich and her team are working with state water regulators to try and force the provider, Golden State water company to resolve the problem. Golden State says it has been flushing lines but residents say it's not enough.
Sandra Pempeit is a cancer survivor and also worries about the long term effect on her health and her neighbors.
The next step.... Brockovich says...she and her team are planning a class action lawsuit against golden state on behalf of residents.
They plan to file suit in the next 6-8 weeks.
