Autistic Music Man

(FOX 11) For many parents, having a child who is diagnosed with autism can be devastating. They don't know what to do or to expect. Unfortunately, more children are dealing with autism in this country. According to the Centers for Disease Control, 1 out every 68 children is diagnosed with autism. But there is hope. With love, support and therapy children can lead normal lives.

Case in point, Terrence Patridge. He is an autistic young man who is proving that kids with autism can be productive, independent and successful.

Terrence has been playing trombone with orchestras, theatre productions, jazz ensembles and church. His pitch is perfect! His music skills caught the attention of two filmmakers who produced a documentary about his life and struggles. It's called, Bass Clef Bliss. The producers of the film say it's an uplifting documentary that inspires parents of autistic children.
