An Outpouring Of Help For The Disabled After Back-To-Back Burglaries

I'm really impressed with how people respond to others in trouble and how effective GOFUNDME continues to be for many in need. Last week, Arts and Services for the Disabled in Long Beach was ripped off in twin burglaries two days apart.

They lost over $12K of iPads, computers, and other electronics. They set up the account Tuesday after we did our interview and after our story aired they started to see a steady stream of donations. Now, the contributions exceed $7100 and continue to grow.

$5000 and they can buy back all that was stolen that their students use on a daily basis. If any of you were moved to act because of the story FOX 11 Photographer Gary Brainard and I did on TV, on myfoxla.com or here on Facebook

I just want to say thanks!
