$1M SoCal Lottery Winner Won Three Times In A Month

(FOX 11) Yamilet Torrez is a woman with a million-dollar smile. The 22-year-old mother is still beaming after buying a million dollar scratch ticket Monday from a Garden Grove smoke shop.

"I was like oh my god, oh my god! I can't believe it," Torrez said.

Does anyone ever believe they'll really win that much money? Torrez says she was feeling lucky.

She won $100 from a scratch ticket two weeks ago. She then took some of those winnings and purchased another scratch ticket last week, and won another $5,000 bucks.

Then on Monday -- Torrez took some cash and bought nine more scratch tickets.

"She said I want to make a purchase here 'cause I feel good, I feel lucky," shop owner Moe Biatani recalled.

Torrez drove off with the scratchers and played them while stopped at a traffic light, revealing that she had won a million bucks.

Torrez will get her money in June, some $700,000 after taxes.

And she already knows what she'll do with the money.

"Give a little bit to my dad, and a car for my sister, and the rest I want to invest it for sure," she said.
