The Rock responds to his 'biggest fan' at Austin nursing home

A woman recently posted a photo of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's biggest fan on social media and the actor responded!

Catelyn Silapachai has been visiting an Austin nursing home with her therapy dog Angelo. Angelo is an adopted retired racing greyhound and has been visiting the home with Catelyn once a week for about six months.

Catelyn says she's gotten to know the longer term residents pretty well. One of those residents is 69-year-old Joanne Foster.

Joanne has been at the home for 15 years. She's a retired school teacher of 22 years and used to teach special education. On one of Catelyn's first visits she said she noticed a picture of The Rock on Joanne's wall and asked Joanne about it.

Catelyn says Joanne told her she's a huge fan and even has a Rock doll that stays with her. Joanne has been a fan since the film "Tooth Fairy" because Joanne says he "can sing, ice skate, play the ukulele, what can he not do?"

So Catelyn decided to post a pic of Joanne on Instagram to let The Rock know just how big of a fan Joanne is.

The story was picked up by FOX News and Dwayne Johnson saw the story and tweeted a shout out to Joanne!

Catelyn says Joanne was thrilled to see his response and just amazed that one picture could travel so far and reach him.

Joanne says it was so nice of him to wish her a Merry Christmas and that he can visit her any time but that there was no rush since he just recently became a father.
