STUDY: An extra 20 minutes commuting in traffic per day equals 19% pay cut

(FOX 11) - According to a new study, how happy you are with your job may depend on your commute to work.

British researchers found each extra minute of commuting time reduces -- both job and leisure time satisfaction

They say adding another 20-minutes to your commute per day has the same effect as taking a 19 percent pay cut.

And those who use public transportation are more unhappy than those who walk or bike to work.
