Michael Moore's 'Fahrenheit 11/9' premieres in LA

A big night in Beverly Hills. The LA premiere of 'Fahrenheit 11/9.'

Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker Michael Moore's latest project that takes aim at the president.

Michael Moore's been making documentaries since Donald Trump was a rising real estate tycoon in New York City in the late 1980's.

This, however, may be Moore's most important work, as he told me at the West Coast premier of his latest project 'Fahrenheit 11/9.'

The title is a play on Moore's earlier documentary about 9/11 released in the George W. Bush years, and also refers to the date, 11/9 that the electoral college formally announced Mr. Trump was President.

Moore calls him the 'evil genius' and he is 'playing the American public.'

He wants this to be a call to arms to get people to vote for Democrats to take back the house, and eventually for Mr. Trump to be removed from office.

'Get off the bench', he said. 'If people don't vote this ceases to become a democracy.'
