GLENDALE, Calif. (CNS/FOX 11) - Police found a man who had been shot to death in Glendale early Saturday morning. He was laying on a homeowner's front yard, but the residents said they had no idea who he is.
The body was found in the 1600 block of The Midway Street just before 4 am.
Police said he appeared to be in his 20s or 30s and was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released.
The Midway Street is closed between Kirkby Road and Towne Street and a homicide investigation is underway.
Investigators said this was the city's first homicide of the year.
