Man dies from injuries after running into fire at 'Burning Man' festival

Authorities are hoping toxicology reports help explain why a man rushed into the flames at the burning man festival in Nevada leading to his death.

Authorities say, 41-year-old Aaron Joel Mitchell broke through numerous safety barriers and ran into the fire on Saturday night.

Fire crews pulled him out and was airlifted to UC Davis hospital where he died on Sunday.

Doctors say he was not under the influence of alcohol, but toxicology reports are still pending.

The burning man festival concludes with the burning of a 40-foot tall effigy.

Organizers say more than 70-thousand people attended this year.
