FOX 11 In Depth: Guns, CA Immigration and a kid entrepreneur

- This week's In Depth looks at a number of topics; from the guns debate to the federal lawsuit against California and more.

SEGMENT 1:

Teachers and Guns. We hear from a dozen students from California School of the Arts - San Gabriel Valley in Duarte. They talk of their fears and concerns about school safety. The kids talk from the heart. Then their English teacher Heidi Bowman and USC Social Media Professor Karen North talk about how Twitter and Facebook drive the efforts for the school walkout this week across the country. And, how people are communicating with each other over social media about guns.

SEGMENT 2:

With a federal lawsuit against California over state immigration laws and federal efforts against California clean air rules, adult-use marijuana and other issues, Chriss Street talks about why a new two state solution (splitting California into two states) would help ease friction. Street is with New California and updates us on how that effort is going.

SEGMENT 3:
Jean Reisz from USC's Gould School of Law joins Chriss Street join us to talk about Federal vs. State Rights.
