A new warning about the Zika virus from California's Center for Disease Control.
They're telling couples who have traveled and may have been exposed to the mosquito-born virus to wait at least six months before trying to conceive.
Initially, they thought Zika could live in semen for up to eight weeks after infection.
Now they say traces of Zika DNA can be found for six months.
The Zika virus can have a severe impact on an unborn child causing severe neurological and developmental issues.
