LA's Most Wanted: Man vanishes after 2011 Super Bowl party

-
Dennis Dobrovolny vanished on Monday, February 6, 2011 after watching Super Bowl XLV with friends.

When his family reported Dobrovolny missing, deputies found nothing suspicious outside his mobile home on Three Points Road off West Avenue D/Highway 138, west of Lancaster.

When they went inside, however, it was clear that it was a crime scene, even though whoever was responsible for Dobrovolny's disappearance put a lot of effort into making it appear that he was all right.

Over the days that followed, a cadaver dog found nothing after searching the 40 acre almond orchard where Dobrovolny's mobile home was located and where he worked as a caretaker.

Over the years since Dobrovolny's disappearance, investigators have come to believe that more than one person was responsible for his disappearance. Based on stories Dobrovolny told about narcotics trafficking in the area, his family believes that many people living around Three Points, Lake Hughes and Neenach know exactly what happened to him but they refuse to cooperate with investigators from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Bureau.

Anyone willling to help, even if it is anonymously, is urged to contact Lt. Steve Lankford at (323) 890-5500. Crime Stoppers can also pass along tips with a call to 1-800-222-TIPS.
