LA's Most Wanted: Death of rapper Brandon Fields

- There is nothing worse in life for a parent than burying their child. That is the fate Brandon Fields' parents live with every day of their lives since he was murdered on Monday, December 18, 2014.

Fields was known as a battle rapper whose professional name was "Young B The Future." Several videos featuring him are viewable on YouTube.

When he wasn't performing, Fields worked at the Harbor UCLA Medical Center.  Ironically, that is where paramedics took him after the shooting, trying to save his life.

Fields was murdered at about 3:40 p.m. on 118th Street between Avalon Boulevard and San Pedro Street in South Los Angeles. It was an area scarred by years of gang violence.

The fact that his killers--two African-American males in a grey car--murdered him during the day with several witnesses nearby, shows their absolute lack of respect for the law and their belief that they will never be held accountable for murdering Brandon Fields.

To make sure that they are wrong about that, call Detective Roger Fontes at the Criminal Gang Homicide Division: (323) 786-5100 or 1-877-LAPD-24-7.

Information that could help the investigation can be sent to the LAPD as a text message to CRIMES (274637)  Be sure to include the letters LAPD in the text message.
