The expression “four peas in a pod” definitely comes to mind when one spends a little time around siblings Kimberly (2008), Romeo (2008) Elena (2010) and Jacob (2012)!
And the Kidspace Children’s Museum in Pasadena, CA provided just the right spot for Wednesday’s Child to learn more about these four as they enjoyed some pre-springtime nature and gardening fun that included learning how eagles fly and a not-so-archaeological dig for potatoes.
Kimberly (2008) is a happy and healthy girl who enjoys going to school and loves mathematics. Kimberly has been awarded “Scholar of the Month”, “Leader of the Month” and various other achievement awards. Kimberly gets along with just about everyone and her teacher says, “Kimberly is a great student (and) high achieving in all academic areas.”
Next in line is Romeo (2008), who is not even a full 10 months younger than Kimberly and who is also healthy and developmentally on track. Usually ready with a smile and giggle, Romeo enjoys playing hide-and-go seek and was awarded a certificate of “Excellent Attendance” at school.
Elena (2010) is a “hands-on” kind of kid who loves to figure out things and, like her older sister, does well in school. Her big sister and brother are her role models and Elena mimics what they do. Elena also enjoys playing with her little brother Jacob, whom she thinks is great because – in her own words – “he doesn’t bite.”
Youngest of this sibling set is Jacob (2012), who is not yet of school age but is developmentally on target and inquisitive. Jacob is also full of energy and loves attention.
Expand your family by adding these four bright and active children to the family tree (or garden) …can you dig it? To learn more about these four and about adoption, tune in to Wednesday’s Child.
