Jordan would love to make magic memories in a forever family

It took a little more than saying “Open sesame”, but before we realized it we found this week’s Wednesday’s Child – Jordan (2002) – at a secret location…the private estate of legendary Milt Larson, founder of the Magic Castle.

But what brought us here? That’s easy…America’s longest running all star magic revue – “It's Magic! Celebrates 60 Years of Illustrious Imagery with Iconic Illusionists in LA”. On hand to give Jordan a little pre-performance training in the magical arts was magician and TV personality, Justin Willman.

Fortunately, Jordan came dressed for the role of Justin’s dashing young assistant. Jordan is a friendly and enthusiastic youth who jumped right in to help create the illusion of coloring a book with just a wave of the hand. And after that, it was time for some good ole levitation! While assisting with magic tricks isn’t part of Jordan’s normal routine, he does enjoy socializing as well as go-cart racing, playing video games, swimming, fishing, biking, skating, and going to amusement parks. Jordan also enjoys reading comic books and listening to music. And Jordan’s fondness for pet animals appeared during his magical visit when he easily befriended the resident black cat!

When it comes to schooling, Jordan leans towards Math as his favorite subject … and while Jordan enjoyed being a magician’s apprentice for a day, he thinks culinary school might be more likely for him than Hogwarts. One of Jordan’s dreams would be to be a chef on a cruise ship and travel the world while working his culinary magic. Justin – our mentor magician for the day –was quite supportive of that possible path, especially since he is also the host of the Food Network’s “Cupcake Wars”.

We are hoping to work a little magic of our own by finding Jordan a forever family that will give him the unconditional love and attention that will raise him up higher. Parenting can sometimes require a potion that is part patience and part understanding with some learning thrown in along the way…but seeing the results can be amazing!
