Bentley has our nomination for a forever home

The Emmys may have come to an end, however here at Wednesday’s Child, we continue casting our nominations for children in foster care to be a part of forever families we know are out there.

As we revisit the Emmys from just a few weeks ago at Doris Bergman’s 8th Annual Style Lounge & Party in Celebration of Emmy Season, it’s Bentley (2003) who walks the red carpet.

From the red carpet and straight to gifting, there were jewelry for men from Twisted Silver, inspirational jewelry and accessories from My Saint My Hero and all natural refreshing beverages from HINT Water to name a few. How about a run in with 4-time Emmy nominated actor Max Ehrich of CBS’ "The Young & the Restless.” Bentley can hang with most anyone.

Bentley is a very authentic kid. He can be initially shy and when he becomes comfortable he’s open and honest about his feelings and perspectives. Bentley is much attuned to his surroundings and is always paying attention. And because he does, he is able to have thoughtful conversations with depth with those he engages, integrating a unique sense of humor.

Bentley loves the beach and surfing as his favorite past time. As far as interests go, he loves computers and anything to do with technology. With those interests, he hopes for a career in the armed forces for technological training – perhaps in the Air Force.

Bentley asked his social worker for an opportunity to be on Wednesday’s Child so that he may advocate for his own forever family. We know there’s a family out there and Bentley’s social worker’s “nomination” will yield an award winning family that’s the right fit for Bentley.
