Anthony reaches for the sky and a permanent place to land

We first met Anthony (2003), back in November of 2015. Anthony continues to be an active and friendly child full of energy and creativity.

He’s gone on new personal adventures and has participated in the Young Marines which has helped create his aspirations for a career in aviation.

To tell his story, we called upon our friends at Tomorrow’s Aeronautical Museum in Compton, CA, to not only talk about a career in aviation but also provide the “safe wings” in which to experience flight.

Anthony listened intently about the history of the legendary Tuskegee Airmen, our nation’s first group of African-American pilots in the US military. Anthony also took great interest in a mini-lecture on avionics and mechanical engineering.

Anthony is very athletic, continues to enjoy watching and participating in baseball, basketball and soccer. He hopes to have the opportunity to watch a baseball game and cheer on his favorite team, the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Anthony is open to new adventures and he enjoys learning about nature, hiking and he loves to sing and have fun. Today’s adventure was about experiencing flight and the endeavor of locating the right adoptive family who we know is just on the horizon.

Anthony would like to have a family that supports his desire to maintain contacts with some significant people in his life. Anthony also loves animals, especially dogs and would love to have the opportunity to nurture one.
