Josias wants to shoot hoops in a forever home

When given the chance to shine in Laker gold, Josias (2002) -- a dedicated Lakers fan and this week’s Wednesday’s Child -- jumped at the opportunity … and onto the court!

Josias expressed a “whether they win or lose” loyalty to the Lakers as he got an upclose-and-personal peak at his favorite team during a practice session. Later on Laker forward Julius Randle was on hand to welcome Josias and to test Josias’ mettle as a basketball player.

Josias went right to work on the court during his one-on-one with Julius Randle. Josias may be small right now, but he packs a lot of power and speed and had no trouble keeping up with the young Los Angeles Laker.

Josias does well in school and has a lot of charisma. Josias’ academic strengths include language arts, so we proposed an on-camera audition to see how he’d take to being a sports reporter as well. True to his nature, Josias accepted the challenge and threw some interview questions to Julius.

Driving the focus back towards our main goal, Josias told us that the family he’d like to have would be one that loves him unconditionally, as well as involve him in a lot of sports and outdoor activities. But you don’t have to be a ‘baller’ to be what this kid needs.

If your family is looking to add a team member who will participate in every facet of being a part of a family, tune in this week’s Wednesday’s Child.
