Russell, Dustin and Ashley want to make music with a forever family

We’re letting the music play this Wednesday as we spend some time with siblings Russell (above left), Dustin (right) and Ashley (center), who -- while having some varying interests – share a common bond in their love for music.

Russell likes to kick back and listen, Dustin always finds the beat and taps to the rhythm and Ashley loves to sing, so we made our own conga line and headed over to LA’s hit music radio station 102.7 KIIS FM where on-air DJ Freddy Rivera was on hand for a meet and greet and tour of the station – including their “live lounge”.

Russell (2005) is a music lover who listens to all the latest hits on his iPhone. Like many children his age, he also enjoys playing video games and riding his scooter. Russell likes spending other chunks of his free time playing fuse ball at home or at the Boys & Girls Club. Russell also has a thing for trains and thinks that being a train conductor would be a really cool job.

Dustin (2007) is a fun and witty dude who (like many kids his age) enjoys riding his skateboard and watching movies.  Dustin likes reading all about dinosaurs and their dusty bones. He says he wants to be a “scientist of dinosaurs” when he grows up. Dustin is also into Pokémon cards and has about 100 of them – and still counting. Dustin has an ear for rhythm and took on the role of drummer as his sister took to the mic and sang in the “live lounge”.

Ashley (2009) is a spunky and loving girl who loves dolls and dollhouses, and has 2 life-size dollhouses. Like many girls her age, she enjoys playing dress up and loves doing her hair. Ashley also enjoys memorizing the lyrics to her favorite songs. Her favorite song is Alicia Keys’ "Girl On Fire" and she can sing the entire song without pause. While Ashley currently likes to belt out songs, says she wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up.

Currently these three siblings live in separate foster homes but their desire is to be in harmony again in one home and one forever family. We’re echoing their desire over the airwaves in an effort to find that family that is meant to be for this trio.
