Elijah (2000) is a high-spirited youth with a love for baseball and a strong identity with his Latino heritage. With this in mind, we lined-up something he might consider similar to a seventh heaven …some pre-game hang time with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim! In addition to some fielding opportunities during batting practice, Elijah got a private meet-and-greet with center fielder Mike Trout and first baseman Albert Pujols.
Elijah is charismatic and people are naturally drawn to him. He possesses a good sense of humor and is genuinely generous by nature. Elijah was elated to receive an Angels jersey and an autographed baseball. And before game time, Trout and Puljos both gave Elijah their batting gloves. During the game, Elijah met a couple from out of town who, as part of their anniversary celebration, came specifically to see Pujols play. The couple left with an anniversary gift from Elijah …Pujols’ batting gloves.
Elijah enjoys video games and swimming and he currently has his sights set on serving in the Armed Forces. Elijah is doing well in school and could benefit from having a supportive family. Elijah considers himself to be a fun-loving teen and desires to be part of an active and loving forever family.
