Chef Travis Strickland: New Years Eve dining

Before you start those New Year’s's the last day to indulge in some culinary delights. Chef Travis Strickland is here from Baltaire in Brentwood with some delicious options they'll be serving up tonight.

For Baltaire’s first New Year’s Eve, they are pulling out all of the stops with a glamorous Roaring 20s party from 5:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Two dinner seatings will be available, featuring a five-course, prix-fixe menu from Executive Chef Travis Strickland, with signature dishes, plus modern interpretations of 20s-inspired fare. The first seating is $175 per person and reservations start from 5:30-6:30 p.m. with a two hour seating window. The second seating is $250 per person with reservations starting from 9-9:45 p.m., including a welcome glass of Champagne, party favors like hats and beaded necklaces, and the table for the remainder of the night. The Roaring 20s decadence will continue with martini and caviar carts, live jazz, burlesque dancers, and a DJ spinning tunes until 2 a.m.

Party-goers seeking a more casual experience can also reserve a couch in the Bar and Lounge on a first come, first serve basis.
