Leigh Nash, formerly of the band Sixpence None The Richer, had mainstream success in the late ‘90s with hits like “Kiss Me” and “There She Goes.”
Leigh has been making music ever since, and has just released her debut Country album, “The State I’m In.”
While the genre in which she performs is different from the light, pop sound she developed as a teenager (yes, she was just a teen when those songs were released), Leigh is no stranger to Country—the girl grew up in Texas!
The songs on this new album reflect her journey from singing in clubs since she was 12 years old, to the whirlwind success of Sixpence at 14, growing up under a microscope, raising her son as a single mother, as well as the hiatus of her band.
