- Didn’t get to go on that European vacation this summer? That’s okay because on Foodie Friday, Kristin Dossetti, the co-owner of Zinqué, showed us how to create healthier versions of your favorite French fare!

Zinqué is an iconic culinary hangout with locations on Abbot Kinney in Venice, Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood, Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach -- and locations in Downtown LA and Santa Monica coming soon.

The eatery is known for its modern take on French cuisine – think egg white frittata bowl, salmon toast, beef carpaccio - that has people coming back daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Along side Chef Miguel Mateo, we cooked several yummy dishes: 

-Smoked Salmon Tartine / crème fraîche, egg, dill, salt & vinegar chips

-Quinoa, Roasted Beets, Avocado, Grated Carrots / cilantro (choice of protein will be offered from pretty glass ramekins)

-Charcuterie Plate / Rosette de Lyon, Coppa, Pâté de Campagne

-Cheese Plate / Brie (Rodolfe le Meunier), 8-month aged Comté, Époisses

-Quiche Lorraine / pancetta, aged gruyère - with mixed lettuces

-Deviled Eggs / mayo sriracha, pickled cucumbers, dill, chips
