A summertime chili cook-off with 3 chili chefs from the 8th Annual Pechanga Microbrew & Chili Cook-off this Saturday.
First up, Rancher Rick from Tub's Fine Chili in Culver City.
He's been featured on the Food Network and has an amazing Turkey Chili served on a corn bread waffle bowl for us. Rick, what makes your chili special?
Next is Matt Lusk from Rooftop BBQ out of Murrieta in Riverside County. In addition to traveling to BBQ competitions, these guys also have several popular products like their Competition BBQ Sauce, Competition Blend Rub and Jalapeño Peach Jelly... Matt is mixing up a Smoked Brisket Chili.
Lastly, Marlene Moore from Pechanga Resort & Casino. She's got a Spicy Southern Style Chili and Marlene is the reigning Chili Champion from the annual chili cook-off at Pechanga Resort & Casino that raises money for Habitat for Humanity. She's defending her title against 7 other Pechanga chefs at this Saturday's Pechanga Microbrew & Chili Cook-off. Marlene - show us what makes your chili award winning?
