Connie Rice & Dennis Zine: Police shootings and protest fallout

The shootings of two black men -- Keith Scott in Charlotte and Terence Crutcher in Tulsa ignited more tension and unrest.

The outrage from protesters spilled into the streets for a third night in North Carolina.

Thousands of people gathered in Charlotte's business district, demanding police release the footage of the shooting.
They chanted and they marched while the National Guard watched the closely.

According to the Washington Post: Scott is among an estimated 707 people who have been shot dead by law enforcement officers so far in 2016 -- 163 of the victims were African-American men.

We had Connie Rice, a civil rights activist and Dennis Zine, former LAPD sergeant and former councilman into Good Day LA to discuss.
