Anthony Tall and Mark Tapson discuss the Colin Kaepernick controversy

There's a heated debate going on right now stirred by San Francisco 49ers Quarterback Colin Kaepernick. He refused to stand for the National Anthem during a preseason game.

Kaepernick decided to sit down, and not salute the flag while the Star Spangled Banner played. He set the internet on fire by doing this. He explained that this was in protest to the oppression of people of color in the U.S.

Now, Kaepernick has the right to express his views...but should he have?

A lot of players, fans, even the White House have disagreed with his decision.

But despite the widespread criticism, Kaepernick insists he will continue refusing to stand during the National Anthem.

Should he have picked a different way to protest social injustices?

We have sports lawyer and agent Anthony Tall who supports Kaepernick's protest.

We also have Mark Tapson, who is an editor of a conservative website, 'TruthRevolt'. He's against what Kaepernick did.
