On Monday, FBI director James Comey will testify before Congress about Russia's meddling in the 2016 presidential election.
But Comey will also face questioning about President Trump's allegation that former President Obama wiretapped - or more broadly surveilled, the goings on at Trump Tower during or after the election.
Yesterday, the leaders of the Senate Intelligence Committee added their voices to those seeming to doubt that claim, senators Richard Burr and Mark Warner issued a statement: "Based on the information available to us, we see no indications that Trump Tower was the subject of surveillance by any element of the United States government either before or after Election Day 2016."
That is pretty much what the House Intelligence Committee came out with the day before. The ranking member on that committee - Adam Schiff joined us from Washington.
